A "beautiful fork" in the river that gave the town it's name, Belle Fourche has been welcoming trail weary travelers for more than a century. Twenty miles north of here is the Geographic Center of the Nation. The community has copyrighted the title "South Dakota's Antique Capital" because of its many antique stores on main street.
