Miller is located in east-central South Dakota between the state capital of Pierre and the city of Huron. Miller is the county seat of Hand County. Hand County is composed of excellent farm land and rolling ranch land providing a balanced agricultural economy. The city offers a swimming pool with water slide, tennis courts, basketball courts, 2 city parks, baseball & softball fields, a FREE campground & a challenging 9 hole golf course. The Central Plains Arts Council sponsors many cultural offerings. The McWhorter House Museum is a must-see for history buffs.
